The author experienced depression for a major portion of her life, from a combination of causes. Her relationship with the Heavenly Father was hindered, as well as with the people around her. But her story demonstrates that God knew, understood her need and planned for her healing.
The thrust of the book is that, though medicine many times relieves depression, and counseling helps yet the only TOTAL, FULL answer is in the Lord our God, and our total trusting surrender to Him - to Jesus Christ, "Who loved us and gave Himself for us." Then He uses what and whom He wills to bring about our healing. He knows the exact need.
Mrs. Burrows resides in Titusville, PA and is a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Titusville. She is involved in the music ministry there and is church treasurer. Because of depression problems, she did not marry until late in life - only after God did His beautiful work of inner healing! Read about the romance!
