Rogue was a fun dog to work in obedience as well. He got his CD in style with scores of 192, 194, and 194-1/4. He was trained through Open, which I just never got around to getting. At the age of 7 Rogue went to live with a gentleman named John Master, Titusville, Pa. John and Rogue were best of friends, John had just lost his shepherd and wanted an older dog to walk with every evening, plus he had just retired and needed something to do.

Unfortunately for John, right after he took Rogue he was diagnosis'd with cancer. Rogue was the one thing that kept him going through out the chemo, long days of recover, and John's final battle to the end. We made the decision between John and I that Rogue would be put down at his death, as Rogue got a reoccurrence of cancer on his lip and the prognosis was not great, making our decision much easier. What a wonderful gift John not only received but gave to Rogue as well. May you both be walking and playing ball in heaven.
