Upper Two Mile Run
enters the Allegheny river about 6 miles south of Oil City on
route 8 between Oil City and Franklin at the sand and gravel
works. It flows north and south with the lower portion starting
at Justice Lake. Where Upper two mile enter the Allegheny river
is a good place to fish for Walleye.
Upper Two Mile Run can be accessed from sr4001
the Two Mile Run road. This dirt road eventually takes you
Justice Lake. The stream is right along the road most the way to
Justice Lake. This a very good stream for young fisherman.
Upper Two mile is usually stock twice a year,
once before season and once in season. Bait fishing is the usual
method on Upper Two Mile but a general purpose fly like an Adams
works well . At times in July and August when the water is to
warm for trout else where this stream is a good one to check out.
