Mill Creek

Mill Creek is a small stream with Kahle lake as a starting point on the border of Venango and Clarion county. Route 38 crosses three Branches of Mill creek, with the southern most branch being the one coming from Kahle Lake. There is very limited access to Mill Creek. It can accessed by T357 a road off rt38. The lower end can be reach by t524 were it enters the Allegheny River. The lower end is like a canyon and very remote. Route t 524 is dirt switch back road if you approach from Rockland.

Mill Creek is usually stock twice a year, once before season and once in season. Bait fishing is the usual method on Mill Creek, but a general purpose fly like an Adams works well .

There is an Iron furnace just up stream from where t524 meets Mill creek. This part of the stream is fast moving while the part near Kahle lake is a meadow stream.
