Kahle Lake is located
in southern Venango county on the border of Venango and Clarion
county. To get to Kahle Lake for Oil City take route 257 to route
322. Travel east on route 322 for about 5 miles until to reach
route 38. Follow route 38 south for about 5 miles. The turnoff
for Kahle Lake is on the left. There are two launch areas, one in
Venengo County(west side) and the other in Clarion County (east
side).

Kahle Lake
is a dam on the upper end of Mill Creek. The Lake has Bass,
Walleye, Crappies, and Sunfish. The lake is in the BIG BASS
PROGRAM-Special regulations page 40 of Pennsylvania Summary of
Fishing Regulations and lakes. Minimum size 15 inches limit 4
(combined species)
This lake is electric motors only. It is a
fairly shallow lake with depths at the dam of about 40 feet.
