"SHEAVE WHEELS"

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Drafto sheave wheels are engineered and manufactured for heavy industry where useage is severe. The sheaves are designed to exceed both AISE and CMAA specifications for all types of cranes, including Class F steel mill duty cranes.

SIZES AND APPLICATION: The Drafto sheave wheels are readily available in sizes from 15" P.D. through 45" P.D.Other diameters and special designs are available on an inquiry basis.

INSPECTION AND QUALITY CONTROL: Each sheave is inspected for soundness and to assure it meets the customer's specification. The inspection would include:

Selection and inspection of raw material.
Inspection of machining to specifications, such as the wire rope groove, etc.
Verification of rope groove hardness (minimum 45 Rc) 425 Brinell.
Final inspection of groove, finish machining, and overall appearance.
