CABLE TV QUESTIONS

1 Q. What are the cable TV channels at Clarion University and can a student make any changes?
A. Only the stations listed can be accessed. They cannot add or delete any channels to the cable TV package.  “Off Air” listed means local stations.  Billing for cable on an individual rate cannot be split between students.  One must take financial responsibilities.  No hook-up fees apply.  Cable TV connections can be purchased at CATS in 15 ft. and 20 ft. lengths.

2 Q. If my roommate and I sign up for the individual cable TV service, do we both send in the form or just one of us?
A.     Only one student places an order at 1-800-255-8357 and submits payment.  This student is responsible for getting reimbursed from the roommate.

3 Q.  How do we get the cables for the TV hookup?
A.  Cables are available in 15’ and 20’ lengths at the CATS Center.

4 Q.  I already signed up for Cable TV, but my television won't work.
A.  Go to the front desk of your residence hall and pick up the ALLTEL troubleshooting guide.  You may have to program the cable stations into your TV.  If you still have problems after following the suggestions on the troubleshooting guide, contact the Technical Assistant assigned to your residence hall.  If you still have problems, you can call the CATS center at ext. 2452.
