Support:
To meet all your support needs, we employ a staff of certified
system specialists specializing in all current
Windows, Operating environments and other specialized applications. Our access to
comprehensive product reference libraries and/or direct technical
support with hardware and software manufacturers further enhance our
support capabilities.
Service:
Our Service Department consists of highly qualified A+ Certified
Technicians. We are an Authorized Warranty
Service Center for Dell (for PCs purchased
through Student Purchase Program), Gateway,
Compaq, HP, Epson America, Apple, and Acer America and an Authorized
Novell & Microsoft dealer. You will receive complete
professional installation of all software and hardware products.
Service Rates:
Service repair to Allegheny
College students and employees (ID
required) is given at a discounted rate of $40/hour plus parts.
Service repairs include installation of network interface cards, hard
drives, floppy drives, CD-ROM's, and the installation of operating
systems, drivers, and software that cannot be handled via phone
support. This rate also applies to PC and Software Support via
phone above the free 15 minutes.
Future re-image service available for $20 per
incident on all laptops purchased through the Allegheny College Student
Purchase Program.
