Imagine my panic when Heikki contacted me to tell me he was coming to the National speciality in Wisconsin and not only bringing Tampii as we had arranged but also bringing me a puppy!!

I had just met Wende through the kennel club and she was looking at breeds for a show dog. She had expressed an interest in not only a Terv but maybe a Rhodesian, so I decided to call her and ask if she was interested in a dog. I gave her three days to think about it and make up her mind. Her and Treagen have been a wonderful team together. Treagan earned his championship with ease, giving Wende her first Champion, and they got that last leg to complete his CD this past weekend at Admiral Perry with two placements in Novice B and losing a run-off just missing first place with a score of 196-1/2. You will see Treagan in the UKC Nationals.
