Saba is the Greek name for "woman of Sheba" and so since Saba's dam is Sheba, I thought the name Saba would be appropriate. Saba is the doe kid I retained out of Sheba's set of quads two years ago. Sheba had delivered 3 does and 1 buck at that time and all were very healthy and thrifty. Saba weighed in at a mere 5-and-a-half pounds then but has grown and developed into a very nice looking doe. Her stature is a 28 and she has an impressive strength score of 39 in her yearling appraisal. Her rump width is a nice 7.5 inches and her escutcheon height is promising at a 2.5 inches. I am anxious to see the doe freshen. LA Scores - Dry Yearling: V (VVE) |

Another Rezado daughter, Belinda was born with straight hair instead of the abundance of curls typical of Rezado offspring. Although she lacks in curls, she definitely carries on Rezado's strength and width that he is giving to his progeny. Belinda has an impressive Stature of 31.5 and a Strength score of 36. She carries this strength of body on good legs and a smoothly blended front shoulder assembly. Long and level in the back, she has an awesome rump width of 8.25 inches. Like Saba above, she also has an escutcheon height of 2.5 inches. I was very pleased with Belinda's dry yearling scores, especially her Dairy Character which was Excellent. For a large girl, her dairy characteristics are prominent- that long lean neck, great flat and open ribbing, and nice pliable skin. Milk production is also very evident in this first-freshener's pedigree - her dam, Bellina, found in the Senior Doe section, had the honor of being a Top Ten Breed Leader - 8th for Butterfat. Brieta is a Celtic name meaning Strength. This doe definitely exhibits
strength, even more so than her above-listed half-sisters. With a stature
of 30.5 her Strength score is an amazing 44. She has a strong presence
and excellent width throughout. When appraised as a yearling, I had
not been able to clip the young stock. My Toggs were carrying the Rezado
trademark - very curly long hair. At first the appraiser had thought
that their look was all hair, but when he felt their front end and body,
he was amazed that that look was all them. Brieta also carries that
awesome rump width so typical in Vengence progeny - hers was 8 inches.
Brieta is out of Bellisima, who is a Bellina daughter. I am anxious
to see this doe freshen. LA Scores - Dry Yearling: +(++Ec)
