Watching Sheba as she moves through the barn and the pasture, I see in her so much of her dam, Shelly. She is strong in the ideal scores for linear traits -- a strength of 31, 38 in dairyness, and rump width of 33, with her correct angulation in the rear leg set shown by the 33 she received for rear legs, side view. She has matured into a strong doe with a strong Toggenburg head, long dairy neck, and width from front through the deep barrel to her awesome rump. I talked about her in her dam's profile (Shelly, listed in the Reference Doe Section) where I noted that Sheba is functioning with only one side of her udder, due to a case of mastitis. I am grateful to have her as a brood doe. She is providing me with daughters that exemplify the strong traits from my Gabby/Shelly line. Two years ago she surprised me with quads - 3 does and 1 buck. All quads were strong and healthy.
