TaiZing is a very flashy and eye-catching buck. Bright black with a white splash on his right side, he is very smooth on the move, showing a lot of dairy character, with a long, tall and leggy body. I am very pleased to have this buck in my herd. I especially like the way his kids are looking. They stand tall and uphill, showing good legs and feet, and their color patterns are very distinctive and classy. A daughter and son retained in my herd both LAed this past summer with 89 scores - the daughter, Ayla, showing an Excellent udder. Her brother, Jondalar, is equally correct in type and just as flashy, also scoring an LA of 89. Ayla's profile can be seen under the Senior Doe section and Jondalar can be found further down on this page. |

|
A distinctive buckskin color with a vivid black dorsal and trim.
A very strong buck, Lancelot shows width throughout and exhibits strong
dairy characteristics - he is open in the ribs, with strong angulation
and good pliability of skin. In January, 2001, Lancelot qualified for
the ADGA Sire Development Program (ADGA-SDP), with ETA vales of 1:2
5, and 2:1-5. This means that he may have a high potential to contribute
to the the genetic improvement of his breed. |

Jondalar, August-2003, as a 2-year-old. |

A Tai-Zing son, you can see a lot of his sire in Jondalar. He is black with a white belt, that is wide on the bottom on each side and narrows to a point at the top of the belt on the top of the withers. There are white bands on both front legs with the left leg having a fuller band above the knee. And he has a white cap on his poll. Jondalar's dam is a Seven-Maples doe, Celeste. Her last LA score was 89 (VVEV) at 6-06 years of age, with her 3- and 4-year-old appraisal scores both being 88. In 1997, she was Best Doe in Show at the Venango County Fair and at the 1998 ADGA National Show, she placed 10th in the 3-year-old Lamancha Milkers class. In her brief show career, she achieved one sanctioned Championship leg. She has a very good mammary system with a smoothly extended fore udder, strong medial support, good udder depth and soft pliability. I am very pleased to have retained this TaiZing/Celeste son in my herd. I was very pleased this past year with Jondalar's LA score - an 89 as a 2-year-old. His littermate sister, Ayla, also received an 89 as a first-freshener. More on Ayla can be found in the Senior Doe section of this site. |

Firefighter is a ruddy brown with black shading and was owned by Hogg's Hideaway. I used him aggressively for two years in hopes of adding dairyness and height to my Lamancha lines. I was very pleased with the kids that he produced. The Firefighter daughters are displaying nice height and length, with level toplines, nice wide rumps, and standing on very good legs, especially the rear legs. Firefighter, himself, is long and leggy, with a solid chest and neck, excelling in dairy character. Firefighter is the sire of Sir Lancelot listed previously in this Lamancha buck section and also the sire of Cinnamon who is listed in the Lamancha Reference Doe Section. |

DOB: May 2, 1991
Reference Buck
|

| Canisius was in my herd for only two years. I retained
three of his daughters in my herd - Celeste, her profile is listed in
my Senior Doe section, and Lily and Vanessa, both of their profiles can
be found in my Reference Doe section. While Canisius was here, Denny and
Kathy Hogg bred their doe, GCH Hogg's Hideaway Chimera *M, to Canisius.
Chimera was the 1994 & 1996 ADGA National Champion. Chimera daughter,
CH Hogg's Hideaway BXC Cazing, from that mating, went on to become the
2001 ADGA National Champion. I am pleased to have in my herd, Hogg's-Hideaway
Tai-Zing, son of CaZing. His profile can be found at the beginning of
the Lamancha buck section. His daughters, Celeste, Lily and Vanessa, all
can be found in the Lamancha Reference Doe section. Canisius was a strong buck with sharp angularity, very good width between the ribs and high withers blending into a strong powerful neck. His 1994 LA at 3-01 was 84 (+VE). That appraisal noted him as having a Very Good back, and standing on a powerfully correct set of legs. |

| Black with tan & white markings on face and legs, Hexpectation has an excellent head with very good rear legs. He has a strong body, showing great chest width and depth, and a strong neck. His daughters showed good feet and long bodies with a lot of width between the rear legs. Their mammary systems were both wide and high in the rear, very capacious, and with good teat delineation. His daughters also carried the strong width throughout. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Luxor was owned by Denny & Kathy Hogg. He was solid chocolate
brown. Luxor was a very dairy buck, showing great length of neck and
legs, with very correct front legs and rear leg set. He is sire of
Café Alait, listed in my Senior Doe section. I am very pleased
with Café and wish I had had the opportunity to use more of
Luxor in my herd. |
