A jet black doe, with a touch of white freckles on her nose, this doe is the first doe kid that I have had born to Wyomi. She carries on in her Sanstorm-based lineage with an excellent back and rump. She is a dairy doe, with good space between her ribs and nice angulation throughout. I also like her width throughout from a nice Alpine muzzle and head back to her 7-inch wide rump. I was very pleased with her looks as a yearling, and was very excited when she freshened last year with a very nice mammary system - well-balanced, high and wide in the rear, nice fore udder, and a strong medial suspensory ligament. I was very pleased with both of her LA scores from this past year and as a first-freshener. She scored 89 both years, with an E in Mammary System both years as well. Her sire, Earl, as a 7-year-old this year, scored 91 with a 90 the previous year. Both Earl and her dam, Wyomi, are profiled in this Alpine section. Just hit on their names in their pedigree to learn more about them. |
