Bellina reminds me of her granddam, Bambi. With an impressive LA of 88
as a first-freshener, she is a tall doe with a stature of 26, and carrying
a strong chest floor and deep barrel. She is open-ribbed, displays good
escutcheon arch, and very pliable of skin. Her powerful presence translates
to the milkpail as well, as seen by her milk record below. This is consistent
with her dam, Bettina's, production history, who had been awarded a PDGA
award for Highest Toggenburg AR Butterfat of the Year in 1998. Bellina
follows in Bettina's footsteps with her own impressive award. Bellina
achieved Toggenburg Breed Leader Status in 2000
when she qualilfed as Breed Leader in Butterfat, ranking #8,
for her 1-11 lactation with 115 lbs. Butterfat.
